DreamWorks Animation, known for its hits like Kung Fu Panda, Trolls, and How to Train Your Dragon, is bringing another exciting adventure to the big screen with its next animated film. The upcoming project, titled The Wild Robot, has been revealed in a new trailer, giving us a look at the story behind the studio's next film.

Directed by Chris Sander, already known for his work on films such as The Croods and How to Train Your Dragon, The Wild Robot transports viewers on an immersive adventure into the heart of a wild island inhabited by a diverse fauna. The film follows Roz, a sentient robot, as she adapts to life on the island and develops emotional bonds with the animals that populate it. Alongside Nyong'o, the original voice cast of The Wild Robot includes talent such as Pedro Pascal, Catherine O'Hara, Bill Nighy, and more, voicing the island's animal characters.

Based on Peter Brown's best-selling novel, the film will explore themes of adaptation, friendship, and belonging. Universal Pictures has set the release date for The Wild Robot for September 20, and this time we hope that the studio can achieve a better result than it had with Ruby Gillman: The Girl with Tentacles, which won the record for the worst result at the box office for the production company. The film will be a new chance for the studio to return to amaze its fans.
